Sony announces Walkman S-Series and E-Series

Sony finally officially announced two new PMP Walkman models, the S-Series and E-Series. The Walkman S Series has been rumored since last July and leaked specifications also get out in early August. Both Walkman will be launched in September.

Sony Walkman S Series comes with a QVGA LCD screen 2.4-inch size, audio playback battery promising up to 17 hours of music and video playback 6.5 hours via speakers and 42 hours via headphones.

Other features present include FM radio, voice recorder and komptibel with file formats MP3, WMA, AAC, H.264, MPEG-4, WMV, etc.. 8GB version is offered for U.S. $ 110 while the 16GB version for U.S. $ 130.

While the E-Series Walkman has laya smaller (2-inch QVGA) and the battery capacity is also smaller (30 hours for music and 4 hours for video). 8GB dibanderol version for US$ 80 and 16GB for US$ 100.
